2013

Wow once again it has been a long time since posting on here, guess time flies when we are having fun huh? Guess I will just post some random pictures to catch up a bit...

One of Jessica's senior pictures.
A little crafty project I made for a friend, I would like to get back into making these things again just takes time...
Another one of my Great Nieces, Tate, we have two of them graduating this year and man is that making me feel OLD.

This would be Tiger, Trouble and Bismarck from left to right with their new toy.

Two more of my lovely hooligans, Lexi and Jordon after helping me bag up my leaves in the back yard we left a pile to play in later..
This square table topper was a gift from a very dear friend who is in the Air Force and she gave it to me for good luck on the day I was relicensed for Daycare this year, I think it comes from Arabia or Egypt but am not sure isn't it lovely.

My Fur Babies

Trouble and her favorite position

Mahlee and my computer bag, I have to take a bit of her to work with me each day.

 Bismarck looking for water.

Mahlee in her favorite spot, the bunkbeds.

Kit and Tiger, long time buddies the two that started this collection.

Suzie, my miss priss.

Trouble and another one of her favorite poses.

Suzie and Tinker, they are fast friends, I got them in the same year.

These cats have got to be just the sweetest cats ever, they all get along for the most part and they all have their partners and very distinct personalities.  When I am down or stressed they can always pull me out of it.

Living in a FEMA  Trailer is not easy for them as there is not much space to run and play I can't wait to be able to give them more space.  They are coping just like I am but wow do they get into everything.

Early July, 2011,  Waiting for the water to recede

Wow it has been a year since I have posted anything, let me just say 2011 is a year I am so glad to say ADIOS, GOODBYE, GOOD RIDDENS, too, between snow in Jan, Feb, Mar, rain April, May, then along came the FLOOD in June, from July thru Dec is just a BLURRR. We camped at friends, then a campground that turned ickky really fast then to the Kelly Inn which was awesome until we had to vacate due to the Hostefest, and then finally into a FEMA Trailer which isnt all that bad except it is small and then when the pipes freeze that is truely no fun.  We are survivors and true North Dakotans, we will conquer anything that comes our way lol I hope...

For those Who HATE to have their picture taken

I was once one of those who would duck, run, or make a face at any camera aimed in my direction. I have changed my attitude when it comes to being photographed, it is necessary if you are going to be a scrapbooker or leave a family history legacy for younger generations. I do not have one single photo of me with my mom as an infant or young child because she was always the one behind the camera and also hated her picture taken. I envy the younger generations because of the technology they have at their disposal, digital cameras, cellphones that take pictures, cam corders, computers, I could go on and on.
This goes out to all who avoid the camera, just smile when it is aimed at you, take every opportunity to be photographed, get with your grandparents, aunts, uncles ,moms, dads, and siblings because once they are gone so are your opportunities to have your life linked to theirs. Think of future generations, how they will love to look at the pictures and read the stories of grandparents and older generations.
I don't take pictures to embarrass anyone, I am only trying to preserve some history for future generations.

Project Life Arrival

I purchased both the Amber and Turquoise edition this year I just couldn't choose.

Project Life 2011 (Amber Edition)

Here are my first pages of Project Life 2011. I am so loving this way of scrapbooking, I actually get pictures recorded and journaling done. I did this last year and am so pleased with the way my album turned out.
